Velvet, smokey plummy just shy of sweet. Like Madeline Peyroux singing ‘You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go.’ — 4 years ago

Yummy and a bit complex and dry yet juicy, a nice surprise. Cherry. Decent length finish. Better as it opens up. From cafe Madeline. Would love to enjoy again — 3 years ago

So light like a rose. Tons of berries, watermelon, some acidity, maybe some lemon peel. Overall really nice for a hot day. — 3 years ago

Revisiting 2015 vintage. Pale yellow white, excellent clarity. Floral nose. Bone dry, floral, citrus and pear flavors, lean, good acidity and mouthfeel, some skin astringency and lactic character on finish. 35/24/18/14/5/4 blend of Siegerebe, Madeline Angevine, Madeline Sylvaner, Grüner Veltliner, Gewürtztraminer and Riesling. 270 cases. — 5 years ago

Mid crimson in colour. Lovely Cabernet aromas with a trace of blue fruits and a hint of violets. Very balanced and harmonious on the palate. Elegant. Plenty of flavour intensity and only 12.5% ABV. Tannins are fine but persistent. So balanced almost nothing stands out - the characteristics of a lot of great wines. Will cruise on to its 20th birthday and beyond.
