Light straw with green hints . Quite discreet and reserved on the nose , elderflower , camomile, oyster shell , green apple , sea breeze . On the palate this is strict and direct , green apple , chalky mineral and oyster shell notes , very mineral focused . Fills out with a slightly creamy texture . Good length focused and detailed . Very young but enjoyable now , quite Chablis-esque is style . Probably even better in 3-5 years and will last well a further 5 -8 or so — 6 days ago

Vintage 2009 | There is no point in being sorry, I know, but I wish I bought more Cotat. Incredible Sancerre with 16 years. No sign of age or fatigue, very vivid. Citrus, minerals, white chocolate, very rich smell, fresh. Some flint, a brieve hint of honey. This wine is all about e l e g a n c e. — 6 days ago

Quite light straw . Very complex and taut on the nose , with crushed shells , touch of honied citrus fruits , gun flint , green apple , camomile . On the palate this is very mineral and intense with chalk dust and citrus , apple peel , really long and mineral . Good volume but really excellent balance . Perfect fresh acidity, and saline mineral intensity on the finish .
