Upon recommendation from the wine ship guy, i opened this 2-3 hours before tasting, which was good, except for tge fact that it got too warm. I popped it back in the fridge for 20 minutes and then it was perfect. Very fruit forward and fresh with a nice structure despite its youth (2017 tasted in August 2019). Celebrating Bastille Day with the spring dinner of the Confrerie St Etienne of Alsace association. Wonderful menu and perfectly paired wines.

A unique blend...Pinot Blanc and muscat. The muscat was most noticeable on the nose and finish, showing some sharp, sweetened pear and honeycomb. The pinot Blanc was dominant on the front and mid palate with melon, honeysuckle and almond. — 8 years ago
