Oerhört bra vin! Klassiskt, stort vin! — 6 months ago
A Super Tuscan in name only as the fruit comes no where near Bolgheri. A wonderful bottle that comes off slightly rustic. The score is increased due to the amazingly low cost. Worth a try for sure. — 9 months ago
A wonderful Italian wine. Very dark in the glass with great aromas on the nose. Flavors of cherry, blackberry and black currant. Paired it with some bold cheeses. — 5 months ago
Really nice Barbera, although a bit young. Found this at Toutant, didn’t finish it, so we brought a bit home. Turned out to put a nice finish on a pot of goulash. — 7 months ago
Fruit forward. High tannins and acidity. Spicy, but nice finish. Would enjoy again — 3 months ago
🍇 100% Arneis | Roero DOCG, Piedmont, Italy
A classic Northern Italian white, crafted from Arneis grapes sourced across the villages of Vezza d’Alba, Piobesi, and Monteu Roero, all part of the heartland of the Roero appellation.
On the nose:
Fragrant and inviting, with aromas of white flowers, ripe pear, and a citrus lift. A gentle thread of mineral elegance keeps it grounded and regionally expressive.
On the palate:
Dry, crisp, and clean, with a smooth texture, refreshing acidity, and a subtle, pleasantly bitter almond note on the finish — a signature Arneis trait. Light-bodied yet structured, it’s harmonious and polished, with more personality than your average summer white.
Food pairing:
Versatile and food-friendly, perfect with seafood, light pasta dishes, grilled veggies, and fresh cheeses like burrata or robiola.
A true gem from Piedmont expressive, regional, and quietly elegant.
Cheers to Arneis done right! 🍐🍋🌸
