The 2023 is a blend of 40% Barbera, 40% Dolcetto, 14% Montepulciano, 6% Sangiovese. @Delectable Wine not a pure Sangiovese. Still a delicious pizza wine, or in my case, Monday night pasta wine. Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, strawberries, and tabacco; on the palate, it's dry with low acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of blueberries, blackberry jam, and crushed gravel with a medium finish. This wine is simple but balanced and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as good. — 2 months ago
