Cave du Vieux-Moulin (Romain Papilloud)

Amandoleyre Fendant Grand Cru 2022

Zach D
8.9

Pours a lemon yellow with slight effervescence which dissipated quickly. Aromas of tart lemon, salt spray, alpine wildflowers. Body on the lighter side of medium, tart citric fruit and saline finish. Somewhat simple, finish is medium. A nice wine, but could do better for the price. — 6 days ago

Amigne de Vétroz 2022

I tried Amigne for the first time, it was really interesting, it is semi-sweet so for me it lacked freshness. But overall very well made wine. — 18 days ago

Grain Noble Marsanne

A beauty. Sweet wine perfect with Thai food. Mix of white fruits all balanced together with peach, apricot, pineapple, and lychee notes. Intensely aromatic nose that could be smelled across the table. — 5 months ago

Domaines des Virets

Saint-Léonard Pinot Noir 2024

I had this white wine yesterday with raclette, and it paired very well. It’s a pleasant, light wine that goes perfectly with strongly seasoned dishes. — 2 months ago

Cave Caloz (Anne-Carole et Conrad Caloz)

La Mourziere Les Coteaux de Sierre Humagne 2020

I have FINALLY tried wine from the rare Humange Rouge grape, grown deep in the Swiss Alps, and it did not disappoint.

Black cherry and Cranberry to start before settling into a herbal and lightly mineral finish. The way it twists from one into the other is beautiful.
