Super earthy at first, but with air the fruit/earth balance is equilibrating. Loads of irony/clay notes in the nose, with dark plummy fruit. Tannins are integrating but still present. This presents more like a 20th Century right bank wine than what is usual now, with fruit and softness but no overripeness and a nice sense of restraint. — 6 days ago
Pretty deep ruby garnet , but thin garnet rim. Quite ripe rich creme de cassis and dark plum , cherry , touch of spice . Quite rich and round on the palate also. Pretty gritty tannins . Dark fruits , cassis , dark plum and touch of spice , cacao . Touch of alcohol noticable. Quite good freshness , and dusty , cocoa stained , mineral , grafite hints . Good length . Still pretty young , this needs a decant or more time in the cellar , better in 5 years and will last well a further 10-15 — 20 days ago
— 12 days ago
Capital Grill. Deep ruby coloration. Full bodied. Lush and velvety with notes of dark berry and chocolate. Hope to revisit in a non- restaurant setting. — 6 days ago

Vintage 2010 | gave it two hours in decanter, a barnyard stinky in smell (not everyone appreciates this, I do), cedar very present, hints of spices and a good concentration. When accompanied with food it is ready to drink now. Fine right bank wine, neighbour of Cheval Blanc (I take a special interest in neighbours of the priceless top domaines). — 3 days ago
