100% Tempranillo, aged for 24 months in French & American oak. Deep garnet with aromas of black fruits, smoke and sweet spices. On the palate tart berry fruit with vanilla and nutmeg layering on tobacco, smoke and dried tobacco leaves. Generous acidity on fine soft tannins, long finish ending with an earthy flair and a bit of oxidation. Nice value! Good to drink now should improve nicely over next few years. Fylligt lagom strävt. Doften är stor och uttrycksfull av svarta och röda bär som cassis, björnbär och vildhallon. Detta återfinns även i smaken adderat mjölkchoklad och en fin örtighet. Tanninerna i vinet är fina och syran är medelfrisk. Eftersmaken är lång och behaglig. — 3 years ago
Dark cherry color with aromas of ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, rosemary, and wet soil. Tannins are velvety and savory with flavors on the palate of smoke, balsamic, and spices. Nice acidity, long length with a sweet vanilla finish. Will age for many more years. Fantastic price/quality relation from this very small, boutique family winery in Rioja Alavesa. — 5 years ago
