Gorgeous Gamay produced from vines that are between 35 and 100 years old. Nose is fruity with floral aromas and hints of pepper. The wine is typical light mouth feel found in the Beaujolais style but very expressive with lots of ripe fruit, silky mouth feel and a long lingering mineral and white pepper finish. Outstanding. — 5 months ago
What a fabulous Cabernet Franc! So fruity on the palette with a very smooth finish. Medium body with notes of raspberry jam. And what a pretty label! I could sit and drink this all day! @Delectable Wine this is the Venezia Denominazione di Origine Controllata - Sandy’s Shack Imported Wine and Beer — 2 years ago

Honestly, the Argentine Malbec’s are king, but this French Cahors ain’t bad. The nose was especially nice. Tannins definitely show up early. Black berries are powerfully up front. Not much chocolate and not much licorice. Aftertaste is totally PLUM and pepper. — 8 months ago
