lemon yellow, watery rim; perfumed, apricot, mango, lemon peel, Gardenia; medium body, good acidity, 14% ABV; blend of 45% Malvasia Bianca sourced from Catie’s Corner Vineyard in RRV, 30% old vine Tocai Friulano from Pagani Ranch in Sonoma Valley, and 25% Ribolla Gialla from Tanya’s Vineyard in RRV; 24 hours of skin contact for the Malvasia, 12 hours for the Tocai and the Ribolla, followed by light pressing and native fermentation in puncheons of which 20% were new, made by Italian winemaker Enrico Bertoz from Alto Adige; reminiscent of white blends of Friuli; $26 — 5 years ago

Only showing some slight age on the palate. Color is still dense and deep with a clear rim. A very interesting wine and one I couldn’t have guessed at all. — 10 months ago
Very good. Benefit of Covid due to excess previously vineyard designates included in this wine. Vineyards like: Bedrock, Nervo, Sodini, Evangelho, Katushas, Teldeschi, Pagani, Old Hill, and Enz!!!!!!!!! — 4 years ago

This is a substantial wine with lots of depth and complexity. A field blend, the 2013 Pagani Heritage is nearly black in the glass with a musty nose of dark berries and dried fruit. It’s still rich with drying and framing tannins, berry, mocha and earth. Ten years on it is still a heavyweight. — 2 months ago
