When your wife gluggs this, it automatically gets a 10. I’ll take . 4 off just to preserve some wine cred. But really, this is what it’s about: an off dry Lambrusco made by a small producer for about 9$. Clean, blackberry infused fine mousse with a dry aftertaste, even though it’s the Amabile ( sweet) version. Think Ribena, carbonic version. Skol! — 5 years ago

80% Nebbiolo, 15% Barbera, 5% Merlot blend, with grapes slightly dried on the vines.

Due to this style, it shows loads of baked lush fruit, all-spice, dried herbs, and purple flowers. Chalky, but developed tannins, medium plus acidity, and a very brick red color... I really enjoyed drinking this wine, but I honestly can't tell if it is on its last legs or if the grapes being dried on the vine make it seem in its plateau. I'd have to try a bottle again in a few years of the same vintage.
