Had the 2019 in January of 2025. What an interesting wine. Some citrus-lime and lemon. White peach with some floral notes support the citrus. Some slight minerality that keeps all the flavors in check and gives this wine a refreshing balance. Would buy again. — 7 days ago

Pale lemon. One the nose- apple, pear, peach, citrus, and a grassy/herbaceous note that I can’t put my finger on. Burst of grapefruit and pineapple with some minerality on the palate. Medium body. Nice, zesty acidity. Was a bit tight at first out of the bottle. Best to let it breathe a bit and losen up some. Fun and cheeky wine! — 7 months ago

Founded in 1982 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer and sits on a tree covered knoll overlooking the Napa Valley, with caves that extend for over a mile. Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruit, sweet oak, spice and floral scents. On the palate flavors of ripe peach, melon and apple, with vanilla spice, creamy texture. Medium+ finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with mineral notes. — a day ago

Salty AF with a hint of…mango??? on the nose and slight orange blossoms color-forming in the background. The palate is textured, reminding me of the feel of suede (forgive me, I’m a vegetarian, but remember the feel of suede). It is so soft and suave but also textured. It brings in a bitter orange, Saturn peach and peach yogurt flavor sensation, prickling with acidity and, yes, again, salinity. — 4 months ago

Pop and pour. A splendid medium straw color. On the nose: asian pear, crisp apples, lemon rind, almonds, floral. Taste: chalky, oily, vibrant wine with lemon zest, white peach, saline, slate, and a mineral lime peel long finish. YUM! Nice compelling wine at 19 years. — 17 days ago

Our first German Riesling, from Mosel. W’s favorite! Recommended from Total Wine. Acidity to us is perfectly balanced by mild to moderate sweetness. Label says mineral notes (slate in the soil here), peach and slight lime. W found is from the Moselland cooperative with winemaker Dominic Meyer. Typical nose of an Art Series Chardonnay with that dried pear character. On the medium weight palate a nice combination of ripe grapefruit and under ripe yellow peach. Medium minus acid. One can’t help but love this Chardonnay. A wonderful terroir, the Gin Gin clone, great winemaking, and an excellent vintage - ticks all the boxes. At its peak but enough acid for a few more years if you wish. That was my last bottle of the 2011. — 4 months ago
