Carneros Chardonnay

Founded in 1982 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer and sits on a tree covered knoll overlooking the Napa Valley, with caves that extend for over a mile. Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruit, sweet oak, spice and floral scents. On the palate flavors of ripe peach, melon and apple, with vanilla spice, creamy texture. Medium+ finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with mineral notes.

Butter and cheese with zesty citrus and melon.

On the nose, melon and grass/herbaceous. On the palate, citrus, grass/herbs, melon, vanilla, and a long buttery, finish.

Melon & pear in the nose. Melon, pear & peach in the palate. Paired better with Parmesan than Brie.

Great if you like butter tasting Chardonnay

Medium gold in color; yellow apple, butter, and vanilla on the nose; medium acidity; tastes like lemon zest, apricot, chalk with a long finish. Nellie liked it. I did not.

An oaky Chardonnay with nice fruit notes.

Consumed 12/2024. Bc Rich flavors, creamy texture, and mouthwatering acidity.
