Beautiful salmon color, rose for the nose, and strawberry for the buds. Excellent!!! — 5 years ago
Bosc pear and apple nose. Lemon curd and super fine bubbles to mid palate then fades nicely. WHW — 4 years ago
We had a taste test among 4 Champagnes, this Pierre Peters Cuvee de Reserve, Blanc de Blancs, Dampierre Cuvée des Ambassadeures Premier Cru, and Pehu Simone Face Nord Extra Brut Grand Cru. This one is the weakest in taste, quite band. The Dampierre was the best, bold and tasty finish, while the Pehu Simonet was very drinkable, nice taste but weaker finish. — 6 years ago
Well balanced acid paired with yeasty, brioche notes. Paired well with a wide variety of food. — 5 months ago

Excellent! Clearly Chardonnay, lemon curd, almonds, a berry cream. Palate is big and then ends with a cleansing finish of tart apple, citrus, and saline. So balanced. I really can’t see many people complaining about this one. — 5 years ago

2012, was worried reading online reviews, but this is complex and amazing. Macerated cherries, baked apple crisp, some wood, other herbs and spices I cannot pinpoint. Some chamomile tea notes. All on the nose. Palate is apples initially, buttery bread, more cherries then hits a citrus acidity late that leads to baked apples with spice and vanilla and oat buy it is all balanced by the underlying acidity. There is clearly an oak influence but so well balanced with acidity. Nothing funky on this one despite its color and some online notes. Outstanding and unique. — 4 days ago
