Thanksgiving dinner @ Union Square Cafe Tokyo. Solid aperitif to begin. — 24 days ago
Blend of 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier, medium gold color, fine bubbles and mousse, aromas of fresh stone fruits, warm biscuits and hints of floral. On the palate fresh fruit flavors of white peaches, pineapple, pear and baked apple with hints of citrus zest. Long elegant finish ending with rich yeasty mineral character and a touch of smoky oak. Bring on the tuna tartare! — 2 months ago
Welcoming the Holiday Season ⛄️❄️🎅🎁 Cheers!🥂
Previous notes apply except this tastes sweeter now that I have fully shifted to Extra Brut. Pre EB purchase. Also, EB in 375’s are more difficult to locate.
The balance will be really good w/ Key Lime Tart later! 🍋🟩 — 15 days ago
100% Pinot noir. 🌹 champagne & 🍗 tasting — 7 days ago
Amazing how champagne can age. This non vintage was easily 40 years old and still in great shape. Too much dosage for me but definitely a conversation piece — a month ago
Pale to medium salmon color with aromas of berry fruits, yeasty and nutty earthy notes. On the palate flavors of fresh cherry and raspberry, nice mousse, rapid bubbles, adding citrus & toasty apple flavors, crisp & refreshing, long ending with creamy lemon, smoke & yeasty earthy mineral notes. Nice! — 2 months ago
aromas are so complex with sliced fresh and dried ginger, subtle pie crust, tarte tatin and hints of nutmeg with some salted caramel. Toasted bread, too. Always subtle. The palate is full- to medium-bodied yet hemmed-in with a freshness and balance that draws you back. Savory and vibrant — 8 days ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale golden lemon color with frothy mousse and lively bead of bubbles. A nose of fresh fruit with yeast, nutty notes and floral scents. On the palate flavors of peach, apple and lemon citrus flavors, floral with biscuit tones. Great balance with acidity, delicate textures, long finish ending creamy with toasty smoky oak and chalky mineral biscuit character. Nice! — 3 days ago
