Surprisingly delicious. Bartlett pear, wax, lemon - bright flavors slightly tart. Worked in many levels. — 5 months ago
100% Aglianico. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas and flavors of plum, black cherry, tobacco, dark chocolate, graphite and freshly turned soil. Touch of pepper spice on the finish. Bright acidity and very firm tannins. Bone dry. Best with food. Give this one a decant. — 2 years ago
Young cherry fruit. Very bright and young. Early season cherries. — 3 years ago
Very good Chianti wine 🍷 — 5 days ago
Lemon yellow. Chalk, citrus, lemon. Quite high viscosity. Pear, pineapple etc. that grows on a tree. Rich, but dry and acidic. Zagros Offida DOCG Pecorino 20, 3300 Toscan, 240914-241109 — 4 months ago
Gorgeous nose. Boundless fresh roses and mid season cherry. Lithe, subtle yet vivid and so delicate. Just stunning. Carema is a wonderland. Soft, sweet and elegant with tart cherries and dusty tannins. A bit reserved now but it’s all there. Perfect balance here and astonishing length. So elegant and aristocratic. As it airs palate gets more opulent in the mid and the fruit slowly gains clarity and definition. More to come with air! Nose turns smokey and tarry now with air. Glorious spice. — 2 years ago
A beautiful wine.
Nose: white flowers. Lemon. Mountain meadow. A hint of sponti.
Palate: so clean. Drinking a mountain stream. Finely powders minerals. Lemon flowers.
More than the sum of its parts. It has an elegance.
This wine seems to oscillate between very dense meursault and a wispy chassagne like thing from vintage to another. A huge swing.

Belatedly and quietly. OK, good, but not quite together or nor aged enough. — 10 months ago
Fruit forward. Bags of cherries and blackberries. Wonderful wine that is easy to drink. Little acidity. This wine knocks it out of the park (as the Americans say). — 2 years ago
