Ruby with a bouquet of dark fruit, spices, leather and licorice. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with notes of pepper, smoky tobacco, herbs and cacao. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins ending with smoky notes, cacao and earthy sweet notes. Just starting to drink now, but a few more years will benefit. — 2 months ago

2022. Second of the four different Olek Bondonio wines I picked up several months ago. I could pair this wine with so many different dishes (or gladly drink by itself). Lighter color and body do not equate to lower flavor. Cherry, floral, peppery with acidity and tannin levels that are well balanced. Went great with nicely charred Frank Pepe pizzas on a Saturday afternoon! — 3 months ago

Really a quite nice Barolo from a producer I hadn’t had before. Quite accessible at this stage - not at all over oaked or anything - but still in a “more modern” style. Some nice delicacy in the glass - the fruit, earth, and acid all expressing well. — 2 months ago
