The difference 40 years makes is maybe just a thin wooly blanket.

Pull it back and this thing's full of life - bright, vibrant, gas in the tank.

It’s brighter yellow than tired gold. Theres more fruit than decay. Sour apricots and yellow canned peaches, white popcorn and greasy bacon, and that foggy musk.

Acid rips through and does not give. Barely sweet with the demi-sec tag thats written right there but I'm not buying it.

Medium lemon color. Pronounced nose. Lemon custard, honey, quince, popcorn, Smokey. Medium+ acidity, high alcohol, medium+ body. The high alcohol and the lees mask the fruit and the resulting sensation is a lack of freshness. — a year ago

White burg perfection. Captivatingly complex aromatics with Coche fireworks on full display, layered with popcorn, citrus oils and white flowers. What texture on the palate. Completely smitten with this dense, complex, and entirely palatable Chardonnay.

Yellow straw color that hints at minor oak aging. Beautiful and intense aromas of struck match, toasted marshmallow, baked bread, pineapple, and guava. Absolutely no vanillin coming through. Upon cold opening it was much more tropical focused and then warmed up to become more toasty. Was fun to witness the evolution.

Sharp acid edge and medium bodied. Drinks clean and has a buttered popcorn and golden apple dialect.
