Really nice rose. Alone or with food. — 3 days ago
Full Pinot aroma on nice with a rich finish - nice wine. — a year ago
Nice medium pink Rose of Pinot Noir from Austria! mellowed by a bit of age. Strawberry peach orange and mixed floral acidic notes with very lively stony firm texture and good bite carrying through to a stimulating long finish. ABV 12. Nice JR buy and apparently top seller last several years. Last bottle. Raised score by one from 2016 note. — 4 years ago

Delicious from kent and marie-like a super funky sparkling orange wine — 3 days ago
As a lover of Solera/perpetual reserve wines, this intrigued me…as far as I know, this is the first Solera champagne I’ve had where the perpetual reserve is coming from the red wine (Pinot noir), not the base wine.
50 chard/ 35 Pinot noir/ 15 Pinot meunièr; 7g/l dosage
Faint copper hue in the glass (not a deep vinous style rosé). Initial reaction is this reminds me a bit of Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve Rosé (which I love), but just a touch less layered. Very “big-house” in style. Plenty of toasted croissant, strawberries, and even some sweet spices. More red fruit on the palate but there’s also some apricot. With air, oxidized apple type notes show. The finish has a strawberry shortbread vibe alongside a classical mineral/chalk profile. I’m sure this would still be tasty if you cut the dosage in half, but it works for this wine (and the texture/broad feel on the palate from the dosage show nicely). — 5 months ago
Pinotman /// Andreas
By now it should be clear - I am an Enfield fan. Have been for a long time. This foot treated Rosé is no exception. Sourced from a head trailed vineyard at 3000+ feet aka 1000 Meters. Welcome to the new California! 900 bottles made - get it while you can. Striking color. Incredible juice. Sour Haribo gummibears - the red ones. But seriously - Fresh strawberries the ones which actually have a taste, cranberry, raspberry and lime. Oh man what a treat. An “alpine wine”. 13.2%. If the tarifs will kill us this is consolation. — 7 days ago
