Выпито наутро 1.12.24 после ДР Шамиля в Columbia beach resort с Саввасом и Юлей. Очень очень очень достойный Совиньон Блан. — a month ago
A very casual Sauvignon Blanc from the very upper and eastern side of the Loire River in France. A more flinty and brighter acidity to its neighbor Sancerre (across the river to the west). Some Quincy notes and taste as well. The citrusy is not over the top. Easy to drink! — 2 months ago
Clearly a Sauvignon Blanc, which isn’t always a positive note for me, but the 12’ Pur Sang radiated such energy and clarity that made it impossible to not fall in love with. Aromas of pineapple, lemon, gooseberry, and fragrant white florals intertwined with subtle vanilla. On the palate, a delicate fruit sweetness was perfectly counterbalanced by herbal nuances and piercing, superb acidity, along with a crystalline texture and mineral backbone. Wicked wine as it is now, but it could easily spend more time on its side. — a month ago
Flint, pear, and green apple. Crisp and bright. Not a ton on the nose but lovely on the palate. — a month ago
Vintage unknown, 2021 entered below. Our first Loire S b. Loved it. Couldn’t detect any “fume”. Will try a Sancerre next to compare. At WA Frost w W & friends. — 3 months ago
"Odedi"
Pale lemon in color.
Medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing limes, lemons, green apples, light wood, earth, herbs and minerals.
Nice finish with limes and almonds.
This is a very young Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley in France.
I had a few vintages of this wine and it is definitely better with age. Needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly, but starting to drink nicely now.
This 9 year old Sauvignon Blanc drinks very fresh and young. Elegant and easy drinking.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime.
Good by itself or with food.
13% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
