Simply: Amazing!!! Also, when in Easton - this is the spot for great vino — 7 months ago
Excellent GSM blend (42% Grenache, 40% Syrah, 18% Mourvèdre) from the Grampians in Western Victoria (Oz), blue and black-fruited Syrah and tree bark Mourvèdre aromas and flavors, less red-fruited Grenache in this subtly higher acid 2021 vs. the 2022 that is also open, finish is a little cleaner and less tannic, long, lingering finish, my preference of this 2021 vs. 2022 showdown. — 9 months ago
Good but feels like it could be better — 3 years ago
Fantastic stuff. Blue/plum fruit, a hint of menthol/eucalyptus, racy acidity, bright minerality, grippy tannins. If I’d not read the back label first I might have mistaken it for Shiraz. After 30min I got more of the chocolatey red currant notes of the Cab. The flavor profile of this is uniquely Aussie. Out of my #grassl1855 — 6 years ago
Singing. In a lovey place right now. Will continue to morph and evolve further. Yum! — 8 years ago
2012 Jimmy Watson winner. No Bin 1 or Thompson family made in 20111 due to wet year so all the best fruit in this wine, drinking very nicely but noticeably greenish and lighter due to poor year. — 4 months ago
Drunk after Rockford Black Shiraz for Xmas lunch. Totally different to the Rockford but held up with its fine structure and length. Perfect follow up with Xmas lunch. — 7 months ago
Awesome! Is this the best Foudre Ferment Rizza from Best’s to date? I think so. Impeccable balance and tremendous flavour intensity. — 4 years ago

16.5/20 (90/100) Аромат вишневого варенья, бальзамика и ванили. Остаточный сахар отлично балансируется высоким уровнем кислотности. Приятное во вкусе. Занятное вино. — 7 years ago
Lovely wine. Still good for another decade. Needs a really good decant. Powerful but really well balanced on the palate. — 2 months ago
Complex, developed aromas of black and red fruit, with some aniseed. Palate still vibrantly youthful, with a tight core of black fruit and refined, restrained tannin structure. Years ahead of it still, ageing surprisingly slowly. One more bottle in the cellar for 5-10 years’ time. — 3 months ago
Pale lemon yellow in colour. Aromas of talc and orange/mandarin skin. Palate of medium plus intensity showing mandarin flesh and lime. A cool to cold climate terroir at Henty on Victoria’s south west coast facing the southern Ocean and ensuring a long ripening period. At 11 years still very lively - the mouth puckering acid of its youth has diminished but enough there to ensure a few more years in the cellar. An exceptional Riesling and one of Australia’s best IMO. Had another bottle 31 weeks later - aromatics of Talc and white peach. HH said a stunning Riesling. — 10 months ago
One of my favourite Australian Shiraz blends for a long time. Back when I bought this it was $95 but now unfortunately about double that. Deep Ruby in colour. Aromas of Spice, pepper and red fruits. Medium weight palate of cherry, plum and a touch of aniseed. The palate might be medium weight but the intensity is medium ++ which makes it one of Australia’s best cool climate Shiraz. From the ancient soils of the Grampians. From a drinking window this will still be drinking well leading up to 2030. — 5 years ago

Named after Sir Arthur Streeton, a leading impressionist and landscape painter. Lived from 1867 to 1943. A leading member of the Heidelberg School. I first came across this wine when I was judging at the Toowoomba Wine Show and fell in love with it. Gave it a Gold Medal and persuaded my fellow judges to do the same. Only 60 dozen made and I was lucky enough to purchase a dozen. I described it as Cote Rotie on steroids at the time. Black pepper, earth and spice. Sweet black fruit - plums. See previous Delectable note 5 years ago. Heathcote at its best. — 13 days ago
