87% of fruit sourced from Sierra Foothills, remainder of fruit from Napa and Lake Counties; about half the fruit is from the family's own vineyards, aged in oak (10% new). Dark Ruby, purple edges with aromas of berry fruits, tangy herb, pepper and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and ripe cherry with black pepper spice, vanilla and earthy sweet herbs. Soft chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, dusty spice and earthy oak. Nice! — a month ago

Pinkish Italian wine, very well developed. Reminds me of a rombauer or earthquake zin. Solid. Only drink if you want something deep, rich, and complex. Pairs very well with green grapes and crackers, but not a dry aged steak or seafood. Not a heavy drinking wine.

Blend of mostly Merlot with some Cab Sauv and Petit Verdot, aged 17 months in French oak (30% new), very deep Ruby color with rich aromas of dark ripe fruit and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry, raspberry and plum with sweet vanilla spice, cacao and cedar. Fine tannins, long finish ending with balanced acidity, mineral, cacao and oak. — 2 months ago

Maybe the best Chardonnay I’ve had. Very balanced yet buttery. — 8 days ago
