austrian pinot noir?
it smells sweet. it tastes tannic, sour, slightly funky. it has notes of black cherry, raspberry, vanilla and oak. this is an easy chillable red to drink.
i paired with pad thai. the juicy tannic flavors cut through the rich nuttiness of the pad thai. — a month ago
Tasted orange/orange rind, a bit of red pepper, but also smooth on the finish! Had at Noma. — 2 months ago
Alfred Hrdlicka label - borderline almost X-rated. Wine excellent. I really do like his whites. At Vino Carta in San Diego. White pepper, lemon and Gooseberries - Great stuff / One of the benchmark wines folks should try. Was introduced at Bells in Los Alamos to this winery. Needs about. 1 hour to open up. — a month ago
Gruner Veltliner and Welschriesling from 35-year old vines… I loved reading about these incredible wine makers too:

Surprisingly effervescent! Funky on the nose with notes of overripe raspberries and whey-fermented currant. — 2 months ago
the perfect ides of what a fresh, tropical ans satiny natural wine should taste like. its easy drinking, playful and fun, yet you can also sense a deep complexity that went into the vinification process. Plus, the story and wine naming methods of Gut Oggau connects the drinker to the wine in such an interesting way.. love! — 2 months ago

Definitely feels like a slightly challenging, cooler year. Less outward fruit and complexity, but still good extraction for a blowfish from Australia. Moric is a master. — 11 hours ago
