Well balanced, strawberry, melon, stone fruit and cream. Quite alcoholic, but with a lovely finish. Favourite rose. — 5 months ago
2016 vintage. A blend of Merlot (76%), Cabernet Franc (4%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%). Owned by the Ballande family (also Prieuré-Lichine and Villa Bel Air). Amazing value! — 2 years ago
Inexpensive cabernet. Heady. Chalky. Deep. Plummy. Nutty. Deep. — 3 years ago
Very enjoyable left bank bottling for $35 on the shelf, if not pretty closed. Decanted for 2+ hours and was just starting to reveal itself, still somewhat shy after 4+. Blackberry, stewed mulberry, earth, coffee grounds, garden, and spice. Not overly ripe or concentrated with a subtle bitter balance. Curious to see what day 2 is like. Good value candidate for cellaring though I wouldn’t hate a bit more acidity. — 2 days ago
Low expectations are everyone’s friendly and it is here too. I don’t recall how I came to own this wine, I expected something simple and flat. It is not. It has spine, it is much richer than I expected- more reminiscent, to me at least, of a Bordeaux like prieure lichine. I am quite surprised, in a good way. Have at it — 3 years ago
Classic and proper Margaux. Lacks a bit of mid palate. — 11 days ago
Ren frukrsaft, väldigt söt. Kalas för en med sweet tooth som jag. #tnwc — 5 months ago
Refreshing and light. Citrus isn’t too overpowering like most Sauv Blanc. I taste lemon, melon and salt. Great Summer wine. — a year ago
