Highland Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay 2022

Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and nutty floral notes, 50% fruit from certified organic Double L estate, with the balance from McIntyre and Tondré vineyards. On the palate flavors of apple, pear, lemon citrus zest and melon, complex with mineral tones and soft and a bit creamy adding sweet spice. The wine was fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, well balanced on a long finish ending with fruit and mineral character. Nice! — 6 days ago

If only this was available for a few € less it would be a perfect house chard for me. Very solid. — 24 days ago

Au Bon Climat

Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2006

Took a bit of time for the funk to blow off but once it did it was drinking nicely. Not much life left though, but amazing a California Pinot could last this long. — 18 days ago

Santa Barbara County Syrah 2022

A great representation of an extremely approachable Syrah from Santa Barbara county. Medium-to-full-bodied, rounded and elegant, all red fruits on the nose concours to the palate from beginning to the very end. Medium tannins, some spices and wet woods are easily noticed. It’s a cork and pour, ready to go Syrah. Delicious! — 2 months ago

Tensley

Colson Canyon Vineyard Syrah 2005

Big, rich and ripe blue and black fruit aromas and flavors, great balance, usually Joey’s richest Syrah in every vintage, long, lingering finish, should easily last 5-10 additional years, yummy! — 9 days ago

Crazy thing I just realized when taking the bottle to my recycle bin is this was 15.6% ABV — there was no real heat, just immense ripe, rich heat?!?! Amazing!!
