Would buy again. Light and good — a year ago
Definitely on the sweeter side. Could be too sweet depending on the person. Would by again from Duck Walk — 4 years ago
Strong minerality, mild fruitiness — 5 years ago
Been sitting on it for a decade and boy was it worth the wait. It’s everything I’d want in a St. Julien Bordeaux. Silky tannins, elegant mouthfeel, great balance of red fruit and earthy undertones. Sadly, that was my last one. — 5 months ago
Wow so good! Natural sparkling rosé with lotttsss of sediment. Juicy orange character makes this very drinkable. I love how inventive Portuguese wines are lately. — 3 years ago
Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to the 7 bridges crossing the Arno River on the road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% merlot, 40% cab sauvignon and 10% petit verdot, aged 18 months in new French oak. Had this last ‘12 sitting in my cellar. Beautiful big pronounced fruit and spice aromas. Cherry and currants with tobacco and oak spice. Smooth and refined tannins, well structures long finish ending with mineral and earthy character. Wow!! — 4 years ago
Delicious CDP. Paired as well with duck as with scallops in a buerre blanc sauce. — 5 years ago
What a pair w/ Crostini, Chervil Sheep Cheese & Duck Confit. 👌
Dark, juicy, lush to mid fruit core, dark cherries, strawberries, hues of blueberries, raspberries, limestone, softened granitic earth, deeper red cola, black & red licorice, baseball card bubble gum, understated fresh herbs, dark, rich, sweet earth, hints of maple syrup, tree bark w/ sap, dark & red florals for days, excellent, round acidity and a well made, balanced, relaxed tension, polished, lush finish that lasts 90 seconds. Delicious.
This is better than some premier cru red burgundies for far less $.
