Still celebrating that LNP win in the Qld State election. Deep crimson with a tawny meniscus. Dense and rich on nose and palate. Blackberry, mocha and dark plum as mentioned in prior notes. Very balanced with nothing protruding. At 34 years of age the oak has totally integrated when in its youth it was prominent, like many Penfolds reds. Supple mouth feel and incredible palate length. Previous notes mention that this was Wine Spectators Wine of the Year and definitely put Grange on the map in the USA. 95% Shiraz, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Unreal! 98 points. — a month ago
3.0. A passable Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, but with a somewhat dull taste. On sale for $10.99, regularly $13.99. — 15 days ago
So jammy on the nose, fruit bomb for sure. Blueberry, boysenberry, and blackberry bramble. Notes of charred wood and meat. A hint of eucalyptus. Nice spice. Medium acid, high alcohol and medium plus tannin. I think it would do well with a few years and a nice barbecued hunk of meat. — 2 days ago
Deep, dark Ruby with a big fruity nose and lots of ripe berries with oaky notes. Jammy big and bold blackberry flavors with some spice, cacao, cedar and leather notes with nice mouthfeel. Big fine tannins with berry fruit carried over to the finish with oak and sweet spice. Nice! — a month ago

While its name doesn’t sound like an SB from NZ, it sure tastes like one. Pronounced passion fruit, a little green apple, and more lime than other Sauv Blancs. Refreshing and great value at TJs. — 5 days ago
