Fruity, bubbly/fuzzy, sweet. Always have it in hand — 4 years ago
Sweeter and Carbinated. It is actually much better than we expected. We would totally get again, just not try pairing it with Prime Rib. Lol. — 6 years ago
I had a couple of these bottles pre-Covid - fall 2019? It was my introduction to Stella di Campalto. They were fantastic young and you could see where they were headed. I bought six of the 750s and a couple of 1.5L. This is the first one I’ve opened. This Rosso would hold its own against almost any Brunello from the 2015 vintage, which makes sense, since they just take a barrel of the Brunello and declassify it and release it as a Rosso one year early. Delicious cherry, light on its feet, and very pretty florals on the nose. Give it time it open or a quick decant, which I did not this time. Great with steak, but also contemplative on its own. — 10 days ago

vintage 2019 | Minerality with a hazelnut touch, good structure, nice acidity. I consequently rate this wine high (tasted blind) — 3 months ago
Same maker as prisoner. Dark fruit. Delicious. So good — 5 years ago
Sourced from the Walla Walla Rocks District, this opens with Umami and nori tones that mingle with Mandarin orange rind, and guava puree tones that all dance in the glass. The palate is plush, showing off its silky texture. Layers of bright red fruits collide with minerals, charcuterie, citrus rind accents and stony undertones on the palate. Sinfully good in its youth, this beautiful wine will cellar well over the next decade. Drink 2020-2030- 94 — 6 years ago

Wow, almost four years since my last bottle. Big wine! Tannins softened and chalky. Acidity still strong, yet still very balanced with just ripe dark fruit. Charcoal, pencils shavings, granite stone. Great mouthfeel. Long finish! Drinking better than my last bottle with many many years left. — 24 days ago
