Happy 25th anniversary to my lovely wife. Aging well for a 25 year old cab, everything you’d expect from Napa. — 4 months ago
Flight #3 of our 1997 Retrospective. Presented single-blind; no formal notes. Wine #1 was vinous but very much alive and actually, quite enjoyable! It had a lot of the characteristics that I would generally associate with a mature Napa Cabernet…which is complimentary. Because it was the most “basic” of the group, I called Sterling. Drink now through 2027. — 5 months ago

Guess there’s some bottle variation. Much closer to bottles I’ve had in the past than the one the other night. — 3 months ago
