Earth notes and sweet spice on the nose with aromas and flavours of blackberry and bramble and hints of dark chocolate — 5 years ago
A straight up outstanding Canadian red. Bold, dark fruit notes, smooth and well balanced with that softer, more velvety mouthfeel you either love or hate in a Merlot. Prominent cherry, plum and blackberry with a hint of vanilla on the finish. Black Sage by Sumac Ridge in Summerland, BC continues to produce some of my favourite reds. This Merlot is as equally excellent as their Cab Franc. — 6 years ago

Lovely and classic California Chardonnay with the usual oak and vanilla flavors. Not extraordinary but typical of the California oaky style and well-made. An extraordinary value below $25. — 8 months ago
