Medium light ruby , quite wide garnet ruby rim . Touch of pot pouri , with some spiced cherry , wild strawberry and raspberry . Sweet red cherry notes on the palate , some light herbal notes and a saline streak . Touch of black pepper and perhaps a hint of warmth . Ok length and balance . Not as fresh as some of the others. Nose - forest floor, wood, tobacco, moss. Main flavors - stewed plum and light baking spices. A bit of tannic structure but overall smooth and earthy. Like no Pinot noir I’ve ever had. Tremendous! Read the James Suckling review and he has it right it’s moody. But I think moody in the best possible way. — 11 days ago

Cannot go wrong with 2018 vintage on most central Tuscan wines and this isn’t an exception. A nice, inexpensive, appealing and approachable Sangiovese driven with a gentle tannins, bright orange acidity, juicy cranberry, ripe red cherries and spice and subtle touch of oak.
