Christian Ducroux

Exspectatia Beaujolais Gamay 2015

Another “find” from my cellar, Ducroux is really an amazing producer of fresh and complex Gamay, very redfruit, crisp, pure, and super refreshing, long finish, very fine natural Beaujolais!!! — a month ago

Chablis Chardonnay 2019

Pale lemon with stone and citrus fruit aromas. On the palate crisp apple with lemons honey and flinty notes. This medium-body wine was smooth with a wet stone character with overall good balance. The wine finishes with pronounced mineral notes on a medium+ ending. Very Nice! — 6 months ago

The Doctor Napa Valley Red Blend 2004

2004 vintage. Decanted with very little sed and tasted after 45 mins and 1.5 hours. Initial richness in the frontal palate but the mid-palate decided to nap. Finish glided along without speed bumps. Really nice but not great. 7.19.24. — 7 months ago

Ulysses Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2014

Age has been good to this wine, making a good go to selection, especially if pairing with steak. On the palate the wine is well integrated with an elegant mouth feel. — a month ago

@Doug Powers I purchased a case of that for $32 a bottle direct from Australia. The first 5-6 years they drank exactly as you described. I thought time would help them calm down so I stashed them away and they all went downhill. Happy your bottles turned out well.
