Less than $30 in my store, and with Wine Spectator lavishing 94 pts on this example, I had to dip my toe in. WS is the only wine critic I follow, and they are mostly en pointe in my book.
This example is tightly wound and tannic, but the elements of an outstanding wine are all there. Maybe needs to relax a little more in the bottle, but it explodes from the glass right now. Acidity and weight are outstanding for a case production in the thousands. When in a restaurant and you see these wines on the menu, go here to have a great tasting experience, while avoiding a financial nosebleed. — 2 months ago
Smooth with earth and soft dark fruits. Not many tannins — 10 months ago
Excellent qpr! Upon opening, it’s somewhat subdued but half an hour later, wow! What happened?! And with food, roasted red meats, hard cheeses, grilled vegetables, it really comes alive! This is as good or better than cabs costing 2-3 times as much. Great daily drinker!! — 4 days ago
Revisiting the Tapiz cab. Balanced and smooth. James Suckling’s 94 points seem out of bounce though. With good amount of air, this wine drinks very well though. — 2 months ago

Have wanted to try this vintage for ages and was worth the wait. Moussè perfekt and starting to take on more caramel notes. Lovely — 6 days ago
