Crisp and refreshing. A bit of amber color, but the flavor was everything we hoped for and more. Surprising how well it aged. — 3 years ago

Hard to believe these two whisky’s are both Macallan 12 with almost the same ABV (63.6 vs 63.4). This has a lot more color and it shows up in the flavor. On the nose you get a deep, dark sugar which carried over onto the full flavor upon tasting. The finish lasts forever and unlike the Albino Rhino version it is full mouth filling. Almost an after dinner drink. Super happy I had this one after the Rhino since that would have been rated even lower. — 5 months ago

Fresh and zesty. Apple and citrus. A good mouthful. A really nice vinho verde on the Alvarinho grape. — a year ago
Deep and complex aromas of raspberry, black currant, tar, black tea, leather, mocha, and rose petals. On the palate it’s concentrated and succulent with sleek acidity. Powerful and delicate at the same time. Mellow tannins still have firm grip.

Wow this has some punch or maybe I’ve become soft with sake. The finish lasts but it’s all on the tongue for me. No idea why they called it the Albino Rhino. — 5 months ago
