Dark berry fruit forward, baking spices, luscious mouth feel, balanced tannins with cherry pie finish. Delightful. — 4 months ago

Terres Negres Empordà 2010

Confirms my theory that Empordà is a deeply underrated wine region. A big, beautiful Carignan and a bit of Grenache. I think it benefited much from the five years in the bottle. Will be looking out for this again. — a year ago

Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Pale lemon color with aromas of fresh ripe citrus and tropical fruits with herb mineral notes. On the palate flavors of pineapple, peach and citrus flavors adding grapefruit tones, great acidity balance, smooth, medium+ finish ending with bright mineral character. Nice! — 4 months ago

Majestique St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2013

I think this is my favorite bottle of the Majestique that I have ever had. I wonder if is that I have allowed this to age more than previous bottles? I’ll have to try another bottle to check out my theory. — 5 years ago

Côte de Nuits-Villages Pinot Noir 2022

2022 vintage. Medium-medium heavy body. Smoky nose. Components actively bouncing around during the visit but thinking they'll settle down and work together a bit better in the next 6 months-1 year. Liked it enough to pick up three cases at $28.43 a btl and will likely shelve it for 12 months to test my theory. 04.02.25. — a year ago

Paso Robles Red Blend

Eexcellent red blend! Drinking the 2019 and it’s obvious this wine is blended for immediate consumption and definitely would not age more than 4 or 5 years tops. The flavor profile is excellent with none of the varietals dominating the others. Fruity but not sweet with mild tannins and delicious finish. This would be good with beef, pork and hard cheeses. Don’t remember the price but drinks more expensive than it is. — 4 years ago
