A surprisingly serious & balanced Nero D’Avola-black fruited all the way. Plenty of casis & blackberries on palate. Quite concentrated but not overly so or too fruity-Apparently a portion of the grapes used are dried in the old style (& as in some Venetian wines). Not complex either but just delicious. Polaner book, & at 13$ a steal. — 7 months ago

Very nice black pepper at first nose. Cherries, blackberries and acidity in mouth. A little bit high alcohol. Amarone as it should be. Rounded, soft, flex but full bodied with very gentle tanins. Should be a little bit generous to get a higher rate. But overall a great wine. Just a great choice for amarone mood. Always have it in my wine rack. — 6 days ago
