Gorgeous amber with orange evokes fine scotch. Tortoise shell lacing materializes. Orange bread and toasted sesame, Marcona almond, plantain and butternut squash pencil in the autumnal details. Poppyseed, toasty malt, allspice, acorn squash bread and a touch of ginger spice. Forgot what a seasonal treat this is!

Very drinkable, fruity, mild tanins — 6 years ago
2019 very nice zin. Definitely looking to another bottle. — 2 years ago
Fantastic fuller bodied Pinot. Nose of raspberry and blackberry, maybe some cedar and plum. Decently strong tannins for a Pinot, though balanced, and a mid to full body and medium acidity. Paired well with dark meat roast turkey. — 3 years ago
Agree! Strawberry. Dry enough. Bing Cherry and teaberry. Some spice not too much. Fine currents on the end. Finally light tannins with a hint of licorice. Nice. — 6 years ago
This is up there in my top 5 this year - this is shooting at me 0 to 60 in a Porsche GTO or 3 seconds but finishing like the tortoise against the hare - a winner and in slow motion - but nice and smooth and long - wait now I am confused - am I drinking wine or getting ready for sex / oh wait - never mind - different story - but this is badass is a glass as my friend @Martin G Rivard would say

Fluffy off-white-to-beige head of tortoise plate fluffs recede to lacings of Draco-jabberwock surf-play among seabirds. Semi opaque amber unbudgingly stares out like gelatinous 5w-50 motor oil. Nose of bergamot and lemon, orange, tangerine and caramel drops with espresso notes and light pepper. Unexpectedly bread-y with Hawaiian and soda bread, rye and pumpernickel, finishing tangerine and grapefruit with faint white pepper. Just enough malt to crowd please with a solid beer upbringing. Serious take home to the folks fare.

A great find at this price point. Soft mouth feel, with mild tannin and taste of dark fruit. Went very well with roast chicken. — 2 years ago
