Breton Stellenbosch Cabernet Franc 2019

Medium ruby centre , quite wide light pink ruby rim . Quite expressive nose with blackcurrant , iris , roasted red peppers and earthy tobacco notes . On the palate quite rounded and juicy, medium bodied , with those blackcurrant , blackberry and earthy , dark chocolate notes coming through , quite fresh acidity, fine but very slightly bitter tannins and balanced alcohol. Medium minus length with tobacco tinged finish . Drink now and over the next 5-7 years to preserve as much of fresh fruit character as possible . — 4 months ago

Fantastic. Vanilla, pepper, oak, and black fruit. Great mouthfeel, long finish. Tastes like a 5+ year old wine. — 6 months ago

Metamorphosis by Iris Van Herpen Champagne Blend 2001

What a treat ! Beautiful structure, even at 20 years old. Still a yellow lemon color, not at all showing its age. Tiny and vibrant bubbles. Pastries, biscuits on the nose, beautiful rounded mouth-feel barely a hint of age. Never disappoints. Thanks Acquis, received in July 2015. Opening for a special occasion. — 6 months ago

Estate WIllamette Valley Pinot Noir 2021

Delectable Wine
9.0

Flinty crushed stone and brown spice give way to dried black cherries as the 2021 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley opens in the glass. This is round in feel with peppery wild berries and cooling acidity. It finishes with medium length and a primary concentration as violet and lavender tones slowly fade. (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2024)
