#AgedWineTuesday
Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim. Not showing much age.
Fruity nose of black fruits, cedar, spices, chocolates and coffee.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing blackberries, black currants, plums, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, chocolates, earth and Indian spices.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 17 year old Napa Valley Bordeaux blend is drinking beautifully now. Well balanced and elegant. Rich and extracted.
Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
Fruit forward with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
It's always nice to drink wines from the iconic 2007 vintage. Love these Napa Bordeaux blends.

Nice but simple. Slightly short in aromas and flavors. #gevrychambertin #gevreychambertin — 2 months ago
This wine has almost no coloring. Its nose is more herb-driven than mineral-driven, but there is a touch of wet sidewalk in the aromas. The palate is dry and rather flat, with only a hint of acidity. As with the smells, the flavors lean into the herbal side of the spectrum with enough minerals to make it a decent pair with shellfish. It is a pleasant enough wine, and for $7 I will not complain beyond this paragraph. I will, however, keep it in mind for when I need a dry white wine for cooking. — 4 months ago

This is very good. But I’m a big Chateauneuf du Pape and this is as good as the others. Very smooth and balanced. Would go well with fish, chicken, pork. — 9 days ago
