Needs some air time to fully show its complexity. Intense nose has freshly-sliced green apple and loads of slatey minerality. In the mouth there’s intense acidity magna-leving the crisp green apple and citrus pith fruit and mineral notes. Not the most concentrated or lengthy but a great value. — 8 months ago
Wine for the Seoul ❤️ — 3 years ago
Pop and pour. A bit over a year and a half since my last btl. On the nose: alluring as ever with blackberry, blueeberry, vanilla, charcoal. On the palate, this seems a little less vibrant than I would like: good acid and fruit up front, but falls of quickly on the mid with finely grained, but attenuated tannin on the finish. If this btl is any indication, this is on the downslope, but still drinking well. — 3 years ago
Dry on the palate and elegant, with medium acidity.
Full bodied and bold with nice complexity.
Showing citrus, yellow apples, pears, lemons, light earth, oak, spices, vanilla, nuts, smoke, light almonds and white pepper.
Long buttery finish with almonds and limes.
This is a very tasty and elegant 4-year-old oaky Chardonnay from Lazio in Italy. Aging nicely now, and will continue to do so in the next few years. Would be nice to revisit it in couple of years.
A good quality wine, and better when not too cold.
This is not my favorite style, but this one is really nice. Feels like a white Burgundy.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
