Medium-dark ruby hue. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, earthy, plum, tar. Plus body, full tannins, plus acid. Structured with a long finish. Beautiful bouquet. Needs more time to soften, but drinking well now. Solid value for a Left Bank Bordeaux. 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. — 7 months ago
Chateau Margaux vertical oldest wine was 1928 youngest 2009. 28 was surprisingly drinkable but my wine if the day was the 1990 — 3 years ago
Pretty color of dark red with a wide reddish rim.
On the nose cherries, sweet strawberries, light oak, spices and dark chocolates.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, black cherries, light oak, tobacco, licorice, earth, coffee, light alcohol, herbs and peppercorn.
Tangy finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Sierra Foothills. Fruit forward, soft and elegant.
Nicely balanced and complex, but Needed an hour to open up.
This 6 year old is starting to drink nicely now, and will improve in the next few years.
Easy drinking and good by itself.
Aged in American oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Opened August 28 2021 on our 35th anniversary. We had brought this bottle back from champagne in the 1990s and kept in the cellar. Magnum was in perfect condition and distinguished pop with golden color and fine hue and brut taste —a couple years less than our wedding but still going strong. — 3 years ago
Fine, but still needs to mature the tannins. — 3 months ago
Medium lemon color with aromas of tropical, stone and citrus fruits adding mineral notes, aged 10 months in 28% new oak. On the palate flavors of pineapple, peach and lemon citrus wrapped in smooth spicy tones. Long finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, notes of flinty mineral and savory citrus character. Nice! — 6 months ago
