After drinking mainly Bordeaux and Rioja over the christmas period this was much lighter. Nose of cherries, raspberries, tar and orange peel. Palate was similar but needed more air to catch up. Suuper reductive, with funky notes of petrol and sour cream. Quite spritely too - almost lemonade-like. The palate is intense, concentrated, powerful and acidic and honestly quite inscrutable at this stage. Wow, this is a serious Riesling that demands patience. 90++ — 2 years ago

Had to crack a ‘21 and put one in the cellar for a few years. Very impressed. But of course KP nails this variety. A but rounder than Riesling with different aromatics but still that good teeth shattering acidity and minerality. Paired with khao soi. — 3 years ago
