Mostly Grenache from 100 year old vines (and mostly from Châteauneuf-du-Pape) this is a blend of five vintages between 2010 and 2017. Medium Ruby, wonderful red fruit and garrigue on the nose with wild strawberry, raspberry, red currant, black cherry, earth, lavender, forest floor and leather. Elegant smooth tannins, long finish. Wonderful wine — 5 months ago
An excellent red. Is more new world then French. Full bodied, complex and a long finish. — 13 days ago
A perfect white wine. Minerality, slight lemon, dry finish. Perfect with our braised salmon dinner. — 7 months ago
Deep ruby, lovely maturing aromas of black cherry, strawberry, smoke, lavender, thyme, forest floor, grilled meat, blackberry. Fine balance of acidity ands tanning, fresh on the palate with great depth and finesse. Long finish, ten more years ahead. — 7 months ago
Southern Rhone has been my go to value every day red. This is medium , in a good way in body/tannin/fruit. — a month ago
So, a French Languedoc old vine Carignan from 100+-year-old vines (12.5% ABV) in Corbieres, shows classic southern French garrigue, sage and rosemary I smell, complex yet much lighter on the palate, these old vine Carignan tonight are both quite fine, though I will say that if you tried these blind side-by-side, it wouldn’t be difficult to identify the Old World vs. New World versions. — 3 months ago

Hell ya easy drinker but kinda peppery in a good way. — 7 months ago

2021 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 mins and 1.5 hours. Medium body. Suggestive nose. Nice melding of primary fruits and spices. Tough to lay off now. 12.5.25. — a day ago
