Very light and fresh, dry — 6 years ago
Really fresh considering its a red wine. Really like this one, and only around €5 from a supermarket. What a great find! — 6 years ago
2020/4 with various Adriatic coast seafood dishes. So tangy and minerally - really refreshing but deep and intense, with green and yellow fruit. I would be curious to see how this ages. — 6 years ago
Big and bold at 15% ABV. Black cherry, dark chocolate, and very tannic. Had an amazing dinner al fresco with fire roasted red porgi and tomato-pineapple salsa, ratatouille, and rice. Fish caught today in the Adriatic, and all vegetables from the garden. Life is good! ✨✨✨ — 7 years ago

Pleasantly different wine for me. Rose petal nose, dark sweet plum and black cherry flavor. Age smoothed the tannins a lot, but the acid and profile is good.
Paired for dinner of Greek blood orange and tomato chicken. Like I'm in the Adriatic now! — 9 years ago

Nice try won’t, Croatia, Molat — 2 years ago
I have never tried a wine from Molise before. On the Adriatic coast east of Naples and a little north of Bari, I had no idea what to expect. This 85% Montepulciano and 15% Aglianico blend is robust. But somehow shows a bit of lightness and salty sea breeze. Dark cherry, plum, spice. Very good with food. You could drink this wine every day and never grow tired of it. — 3 years ago
Open in the bottle for 30 minutes. Dark purple color. Nose contains oak, vanilla, and subtle spice. Wine reminds me of those we had in Mallorca but with a better, velvety texture. Paired perfectly with the Chateaubriand! Was so great we made a reservation for Thursday night! Medium finish. Great QPR and local recommendation by the restaurant staff! Atmosphere and scenery definitely influenced the overall experience, but that’s how it’s supposed to be!! — 6 years ago

Medium bodied, very dry on opening then softened out. Bright fruit -cherries, plum some spice. Campomarino region on Adriatic coast. Montelpuciano and aglianico blend. Yum. Great with food. This was a 2012. — 9 years ago
Croatia might not be the first thing that comes up when you think about good wine, but it's definitely more than capable of producing great wines. Plavac Mali is closely related to Primitivo planted right across the Adriatic sea. Medium bodied with massive tannins even after 5 years in the bottle. Watermelon, dark fruits, herbs, and spices. Looks like it has a great ageing potential. — 10 years ago
Vanilla and rose bouquet, jammy, sweet plum taste, Bomary varietal, excellent desert wine. Goes well with fruit, cheese, and cheesecake. — 3 years ago
Starter to dinner with friends & what a revelation. Croatian red ( from the Adriatic coast). A shimmery light blood red. Nose with Cracked pepper, fresh picked raspberries, & a wee bit of barnyard funk; on the palate chewy, concentrated red fruits &. Low but present tannins, medium + acidity. Might be a good red with fish? For 20$ a lot of well constructed wine. Kreslo & Zev selections, Fruit of the Vines imp. — 4 years ago
2020/4 with various Adriatic coast seafood dishes. Much rounder than the ColleStefano, with a pronounced almond note. I wonder how much is due to the extra 2 years from vintage, the terroir, winemaking, etc (though both seem to be modern, stainless steel-raised white wines). — 6 years ago
Great Croatian CS, rich, fruity and tannic. — 6 years ago
Bright cherry, not very merlot-y, but very yum-y. I very much like this. — 7 years ago
Really really good wine from Croatia. Nice dark opaque red wine. Minimal purple. Orangey faded red rim. Notes of cherry and raspberry. Lots of baking spice and vanilla. Pepper. Good legs. Medium tannins with good grip. Woodsy taste. Very good wine! Paired with fish trio (monkfish, swordfish, sea bass). Wasn't the best combination as there were medium to medium strong tannins, but this was my fault as I elected both unprompted. This wine would have been an excellent steak wine. Really robust flavors and tannins would balance the richness meatiness of a good steak or even lamb. @2Ribara restaurant in Zadar Croatia — 10 years ago
