Double decant for sediment(lots of chunky sediment) and pour. A remarkable dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: expressive perfumed notes of cherry, currants, dark olives, worn leather, wet forest floor, smoked meat. Taste: silky, savory, elegant wine with fading dried cherries, tobacco, dark chocolate, bell pepper, earth, and a nice mineral, espresso medium plus finish. YUM! Never disappointed with well aged Bosche or Sycamore wines — 5 months ago

Super dark. Cocoa and baking spice on the nose. Plum. Stewed fruits. — 2 days ago
2023 vintage - it opened brighter than expected with bold ripe flavors and more fruit forward than expected. It was a nice surprise. After 30 minutes the flavors balanced a bit and tasted less bright and fruity and more balanced. The wife and I enjoyed the bottle. — a month ago

Complex SB from NZ. Cucumber veggie notes with minerality such as flint etc — 5 months ago
Elegant, with lots of potential. Will be at its prime in 1-2 years — 7 days ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with toasty aromas, aged in about 35% new oak. On the palate flavors of melon and peach with lemon citrus zest and nutty vanilla notes, good balanced with acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak and mineral character. — 3 months ago

Wow, this is good! I'm not the Napa connoisseur, but I've had a couple vintages of Freemark. This is definitely the best. Upon opening the nose is generous with blackberries and a creamy pastry aroma. Flavors of currant, blueberry, graphite, vanilla bean. Silky tannins and a lingering finish. I think a year in the basement helped this. Definitely could use more bottle age.
