You’ve got to be kidding me. A 2007 Salvo Foti wine. A museum piece. Wonderful Etna Rosso minerals, herbs, deep red fruit. Thank you Alex, for finding and gifting it. — 5 months ago

One of my absolute favorites, but I have to order it from Italy. Vernaccia nera grape — a year ago
Nose - gardenia, chamomile, ocean and clay pot. Appearance - Super duper clean. Beautiful light straw color. Main tasting notes - tart lemon all day with a little bit of grapefruit. Pretty acidic with a longer acid finish but the acid works well with the lemon flavor. Really nice with a spicy summer chicken dish. Not always a fan of acidic whites but this hits the spot. — 3 months ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruits, oak and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and plums with tobacco and herb spice. Firm grippy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak, spice and mineral character. Ok but Juliet better! — 6 months ago
2022 vintage. High acid, salty sea mist, herbal. My kinda wine — 7 months ago
Really loved the citrus explosion but also the composition — 4 months ago
Floral bouquet, smooth, rich and velvety texture, hint of strawberry and tart plum, light yet rich enough to pair with a creamy pasta dish. — 5 months ago
Complex, but approachable. This is an excellent Barolo. If you see this wine, buy it. — 6 months ago
