Delicious wine, nice on the nose and flowery flavour, medium body, good finishes. Drank in Resort World, Shyun Jap Restaurant — 5 months ago
Epic Aligote. The best vintage of this I’ve had. Perfect balance of reduction, texture and nutty, umami goodness. — 3 months ago
The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Champeaux 1er Cru has a superior bouquet: wonderful delineation, control and mineralité, sophisticated and charming. The palate is medium-bodied with finely spun tannins, a taut line of acidity (this feels like the pH is lower than its peers) that imparts tension throughout. Sapid with raspberry, strawberry, black pepper and sous-bois on the finish, this is an excellent Premier Cru from Mortet. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, October 2024)

Didn’t love this - aroma was classic Burgh fruit but palate didn’t match - overly musty/underwhelming - maybe needs some age. Or the sons aren’t up to the dads standard — 2 months ago
Singing now but plenty of stuffing to go the distance — 3 months ago
Nose: some funk. Blows off. White flowers.
Palate: sweet fruit. Mineral. Good. Well made. Not too wooly.

Ok but not anything to ride home about especially at the price of 83$ way back then. Band-Aid, dark fruit some lime. Should I get rid of the other bottles in my cellar? Need the space. Day one 8.9. Or may be this needs 10 more years? I don’t know. Under Argon for 5 days this gets better. And smooth (although i hate this term). So day 5 under Aragon 9.1. So on average a 9. — 13 days ago
