Tasted over 2 days. Not much different after a couple hours of air. Solid traditional style Barolo. Much more open then when tried 3 years ago. Shy on the nose with earthy dark fruit, truffle, leather which were also predominant on the palate along with undergrowth, tobacco, and balsamic. Balanced acidity and soft yet expanding tannins. Finish is long with lingering tannins and an explosion of minerals. This is a hearty rather than a fruity Barolo. — 9 months ago
Nebbiolo rules, this bottle was no exception. Anise and black pepper with lively darker fruit and structured but gentle tannins. Lovely light body. Maybe some menthol on the nose? Enjoyed with JRC and Grace W after a salmon dinner (which we had chenin blanc with). Keep killing it, Langhe! — 2 years ago

Great drinking Brunello that is showing good balance, aromatics with its bright dark berry fruit, spice, dried herbs, menthol, tobacco & violets — 2 months ago
