Lovely example of what I want a Cava to be: bright, bubbly, with a mineral dryness to it. Would love to buy again. — a month ago
No formal notes . medium deep ruby , medium bright ruby rim. Quite spicy a little oak noticeable at first . Mixed dark fruits . A bit more round and juicy on the palate , good acidity , slightly grippy but polished tannins . This becomes a bit more restrained and reserved after a while. Served blind , I actually put this as Haut Brion , due to its generous personality, and polished tannins. Overall showed well in the flight was my top wine (though the Cheval Blanc may well be better in absolute terms) . Can be enjoyed now , though has the substance to last a further decade or so, a good showing for the Mouton. — 5 months ago
Light, fizzy, kind of bitter with a touch of sweetness. Salty? Floral but herbaceous? — 18 days ago
As good as a Morgan can get? Frances, lift, complexity, Gamay fruits. — 10 days ago
This is a favourite & we picked up a few bottles to see how age changes it. This is our last bottle and age has done it well.
Time has made it weightier. The wine is real dry & has a bit of a walnut flavour. In its depths, you can tease out a hint of sweetness.

Celebrating the day when fathers can reflect on what’s next with their families and children. Carpe Diem! — 18 days ago
An exceptional wine that shows its age ability to endure and improve over time. The 2009 vintage has 76% Cab Sauv, 18% Merlot, 4% Cab Fran and 2% Petit Verdot and was aged for 15 months in French Oak barrels. Extremely opulent and luscious, though tannins were already falling, but its elegance and finesse was compelling. All ripe red fruits with a persistent perfumed aromas. Elongated finish with some fig notes as a bit of baked raisins. It can continue aging for another 15 years without compromising its elegance and complexity. This is a show stopper!! — 4 months ago
