Medium deep ruby with pink rim . Quite crunchy mix of summer fruits , strawberry , raspberry and touch of dark cherry , touches of violet and also slight toastiness from the oak . On the palate quite strict acidity and slightly gritty but ripe tannin , with nice fresh fruits from the nose , strawberry , dark cherry and raspberry with some black currant and a hint of wood spice. Decent length and balance , this shows pretty young and will need a little time to integrate , but is promising. Good intensity, fills out well on the palate with no lack of freshness, balanced alcohol . Better in 2-3 years and will last well a further 5-10 — 6 months ago

Medium to light tannins. Earthy. Medium bodied with hints of dirt and gravel. Not too sweet. Medium finish. Easy to drink. Would buy again — 3 months ago

2024/5/1-3. A lovely, country gentleman type of white Burgundy, from a vintage I am particularly fond of (as I was 295¥ 2007 also). Generous yellow color. No apparent oak influence, but lots of lemon fruit and subtle, natural creaminess. The finish is both mineral and also bready - the taste that lingers after eating a good, classical sweet baguette. — 9 months ago
